Last week, during a fun blog carnival, I posted this photo of how I store my jewelry.  I received this as a gift about a year ago from a good friend for storing my jewelry – and I haven’t looked back since.  If I recall correctly, she purchased it at Ross, a discount store around here.   She uses a wrought iron dress form for her jewelry, but I don’t have the space or enough jewelry to justify something so big, but this is perfect for me!

I found some similar forms on ebay, here, and another site with lots of options, here.

What I recommend looking for is something with lots of loops and swirls – so you can hang necklaces and earrings easily.  This keeps them from getting tangled – as you can see, I have LOTS of long necklaces.  Some of my favorites are from Ember Arts, Lightly Toasted on Etsy, and lots of stuff picked up from vintage/second hand stores.  I also have quite a few from my friend who gave me this – she actually makes jewelry, too!  She’s very talented and clever, as you can imagine.

How do you store your jewelry?

Does this make you want to change your ways?

  1. Love the way you’re store your jewelry! I actually linked up at a party you visited with my own jewelry storage. Not nearly as pretty as yours but it’s efficient. Here it is:http://www.martysmusings.net/2012/08/jewelry-organization.html Have a blessed day!
