With my other writing job (for azfoothills.com), I’ve come to appreciate and enjoy fashion more than I ever have. And I’ve grown to understand that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to be fashionable. I had the chance to work with Oasap.com in their ‘fashion blogger’ program to test our their merchandise. I was excited to have the chance to try some new things that I wouldn’t normally purchase and, of course, share them with you. I am all about the accessories – I have a great hook up for clothing through consignment and second-hand stores – but the accessories in places like that can be lacking. So I decided to try some jewelry and a bag. Let’s chat the necklace, first.
This is the “Long Retro Exquisite Butterfly Necklace,” which retails for $15 on Oasap.com. It’s a beautiful necklace – seems like very high quality and I really love it. It does jingle a little when I wear it, but that’s okay. The only thing I don’t like about it is the chain – it seems to get twisted up easily and flips the butterfly and flower charms over so you don’t see all the pretty colors. Since color-mixing is so in right now, this can really be worn with anything – the teal color looks great with so many other colors!
Like the name – it’s definitely long. It drops below the neckline of most shirts, so keep that in mind.
The other item I decided to check out was this cute Contrast PU Button Design Shoulder Bag, which sells for $25. When my package first arrived (did I mention Oasap has free worldwide shipping? BECAUSE IT DOES! Sweet!) , I was really excited about this bag. You see, I meant to order it in this beautiful bright yellow color. But I ordered wrong – I ordered brown. Don’t get me wrong, a brown bag is great to have, but I have…several…brown bags. And I wasn’t thrilled to have another one. But, totally my fault.
The bag itself doesn’t seem designed for heavy use. What I thought was a button on the front is actually, as you can see, a small round piece of leather to hold the front of the pouch closed. (There is also a zipper, so losing items isn’t a concern.) I just would feel more comfortable if there was a more solid button there, or if the flap wasn’t there at all - aesthetically it’s not as pretty as I think it could be, but other than that, it’s a nice bag to take for professional lunches or other events like that.
Have you heard of Oasap.com before? Did you check it out and find any products you like?
I received products from Oasap.com for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
