I bet you haven’t seen a post quite like this on Small Steps on Our Journey before! I was given an opportunity to shop at Cookie’s Kids for some fresh summer fashions for my kiddos, and we had a blast. Prior to this, I had never heard of Cookie’s Kids but welcomed the opportunity to find some fresh new clothes for Jeremiah and Sarah, especially since we had a three week trip to Washington planned – who doesn’t love new clothes for vacation?
I got online and started searching and was BEYOND PLEASED when I found this shirt:
It’s a girls shirt with superheroes on it – Jeremiah is really ‘into’ superheroes, and since her big brother is into them, and she’s into whatever he is – she also loves superheroes! I loved it. Naturally, I couldn’t get one child a superhero shirt without getting the other one a shirt, too.
Score! A Spiderman shirt – and, not sure if you noticed the price on both shirts…$3.99!! Sweet.
One thing I have to mention about the Cookie’s Kids Website is how incredibly easy it is to navigate. There are tons of ways to sort once you reach the category you like, and I was able to find what I was looking for (shorts in my son’s size in clearance at the lowest price, etc) with very few clicks. I have been to my share of difficult to use sites, and this was not the case with Cookie’s Kids!
Since we were already going to be in Washington, I had my items shipped to where we were staying. Sadly, an adorable skirt I purchased for Sarah is on backorder, so we’ll have to wait – but the other items arrived within a week.

Sarah looking super cute in her own superhero shirt.
Jeremiah and Sarah discuss who their favorite is on Sarah’s shirt (out of the Hulk, Iron Man, Spiderman and Captain America)
Jeremiah just started riding a bike without training wheels (he JUST TURNED FIVE!) so of course, I have to show him off. Clothes look great, too
I have lots more photos – check them out in my Google+ Album!
I had some fun creating polyvores with items from Cookie’s Kids – check out this cute outfit (Sarah loves purple and patterned skirts):
I can say, without a doubt, I’m a Cookie’s Kids fan. From the great prices on school uniforms, to the great clearance prices, to the fun and varied items for kids…as well as $5 shipping – all the time! (There are a few restrictions, naturally, so make sure you check!) Also, like any great company, you can find them on Facebook and Twitter.
