************THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!******************
It should be no secret that I love reusable bags! And I love that 1 Bag at a Time sent a fantastic Jute Bag for me to review!
Let me tell you a little about the company before we get into this cool bag!
1 Bag at a Time was founded by Lisa Foster in 2005 to try to put reusable bags into everyone’s hands instead of plastic bags. They can make custom bags for orders of 100 or more – how cool is that? And they care about the creation of their bags, too – making sure the workers who make them are treated fairly. (They also use an independent monitoring company who monitors worker fairness and treatment.)
Now, onto the bag. This is the *perfect* bag for the farmers market. I feel so earthy and, well, cool carrying it! Just look:
This bag is made from Jute fabric, which I’d actually never heard of until I received it! This Jute is organic and biodegradable, so when the bag has ‘done it’s time’ so to speak, you can plant it or throw it in the compost pile. It will biodegrade easily.
It also carries a serious load. Check it out:
I have also ordered from 1 Bag at a Time for some little gifts for some friends. The prices are great, the shipment came quickly, and everyone liked the bags.
If you want to order the Jute (or other bags) you can do so, HERE.
Or, if you’re feeling lucky, you can enter to win one (value $8.99) right NOW on Small Steps on Our Journey!
